Dr. Gunther Groning

Dr. Gunther Groning is an American Board Certified Family Medicine Physician who had received his medical degree from the University of Havana Medical School in Havana, Cuba in 1996. After receiving his degree, Dr. Groning completed his Rotating Internship and General Surgery Residency in 1997 at Julio Trigo Hospital in Cuba. Following his education in Cuba, Dr. Groning continued his training in Family Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York which was completed in 2006. With Dr. Groning's extensive medical training, his clinical interests are Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Coronary Artery Disease, Hyperlipidemia and Obesity. In his spare time, Dr. Groning enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, music and politics.
